Senior Solutions Director
Purpose of the Job
The Senior Solutions Director role is a key position in accelerating business growth by understanding clients and business requirements and aligning our resources and capabilities to create fit-for-purpose and transformative solutions – which inspires and meetings the needs of our clients; secures profitable long-term partnerships and challenges our business and teams to be market leading.
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Head of Solutions, this role is focused on:
- Actively contributing to the achievement of our defined business growth targets.
- Providing strategic consultancy and support to stakeholders across our business, particularly Client Engagement leads, with a view to build, grow and maintain strong client partnerships.
- Playing a vital role in the identification of where our business (alongside its clients and partners) can reasonably push boundaries to drive innovation and effectiveness.
- Contributing to the education and empowerment of colleagues and clients globally on the solutions our business offers and the unique value they provide.
- Ensuring the solutions we deploy with our clients are fit-for-purpose, innovative and robust. Our solutions must add value and be seen by our clients to add value - improving client return-on-investment, speed to market and consumer engagement. Wherever possible, they should be repeatable and scalable across geographies, clients and categories and should use existing and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, visibility and control.
- Present and represent the business at assigned stakeholder meetings and/or events.
Key Responsibilities
- Have extensive knowledge of what we do as a business and how this benefits our clients; with the ability to accurately and succinctly communicate this in collateral and to designated audiences.
- Constructively evaluate client requests and provide strategic consultancy to internal teams on how to deliver the best possible solution.
- Ability to craft fit-for purpose solution/program design to address client needs based on our capabilities.
- Work across capabilities to create win themes and key messages that demonstrate client goal alignments, clear USPs and cohesiveness in our service delivery.
- Ensure that proposed solutions design follows business approval processes and demonstrates considered and responsible action that delivers long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with SMEs to continue pursue routes to evolve our solutions and strategies to be market leading.
- Successfully deliver, and in some cases lead, complex and high impact projects – which include multiple stakeholders within stringent deadlines.
- Attend meetings and lead / influence key briefs from clients, capturing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to relevant teams for delivery.
- Ensure, wherever possible, that existing solutions are adopted and adapted to meet the clients requirements, and driving a feedback loop where adaptations can be adopted as new best practice across HH Global.
- Develop a positive and extensive network across our business and be exemplarily ambassadors to clients.
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Head of Global Solutions on assigned projects to drive improvements in processes, foster knowledge share within and across teams, and support on agreed projects with a view to drive efficiency, excellence in client service delivery and promote market leadership.
- Work with SMEs and key stakeholders to develop and refine content that accurately reflects the services we deliver and the impact they provide.
- The ability to respectfully and appropriately challenge the status quo with both internal and external stakeholders testing thinking and striving for the best possible client and business outcomes
- Take part in delivering internal training programs, where relevant, designed to empower colleagues and raise standards.
- Demonstrate leadership and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Be a team player with strong people skills to work with all cross functional teams in the business to drive positive change whilst embodying our values.
- Travel, as required, to participate in internal and client meetings and/or select business events.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- 8+ years of experience across multiple sectors and regions, ideally FMCG, Beverage, Retail, and Life Sciences, in managing complex strategic clients through change and delivering successful transformational programs.
- Strong business and commercial acumen; with the ability identify and support business leaders in the development of enhanced approaches, where appropriate.
- Ability to support in the creation and presentation of thought leadership content, as and where relevant.
- Ability to identifying and be a key agent in the conversion of cross-selling opportunities.
- Complete understanding of our solutions and services, with the ability to explain and articulate these confidently to senior and diverse audiences.
- Experience of forming and maintaining strategic relationships with a clear assessment of commercial opportunities
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders (internal & external), with the ability to clearly articulate required subject matter as well as suggest improvement approaches.
- Deliver excellent client service with a professional ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
- Strong negotiation and consensus building skills.
- Significant experience in leading and supporting cross-functional teams (virtually and in person) to deliver successful business growth outcomes.
- Understand team roles and responsibilities across the business network; and able to most effectively connect team members to appropriate subject matter experts to provide appropriate guidance.
- Track record of being a key part of successful teams in the pursuit of business growth across multiple regions.
- Strong client-facing experience with a focus on business growth opportunity interactions.
- Independent thinker with strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinker to effectively assess scenarios, identify opportunities and overcome obstacles to achieve a defined goal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver diverse tasks cohesively in a timely manner.
For New York applicants: The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives in addition to base salary.
