About the Role:
- The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialist is responsible for identifying and executing process automation initiatives across multiple Magnit functions and geographies. You will be responsible for analyzing existing business processes by applying process optimization & automation techniques. Using these techniques, the RPA Specialist will work with our development team to drive efficiency and productivity improvement projects on an ongoing basis for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of automation strategies, with a primary emphasis on Robotic Process Automation (RPA). What’s a typical Day as an RPA Specialist. You will:
- Collaborate with functional teams to identify and prioritize process automation opportunities to streamline existing processes for maximum productivity and efficiency
- Independently lead discovery sessions; identify scope, requirements and key system and process dependencies
- Deploy Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six sigma and other process excellence tools) to identify areas with automation opportunities
- Extract data and perform statistical analysis to build business cases for automation
- Align strategically with functional leaders and internal development teams and drive execution of efficiency initiatives
- Lead targeted process automation initiatives and define measurable performance outcomes including reporting results to executive leadership
- Build a repository of process automation initiatives and maintain detailed documentation of functional resource interviews, SOP documents and process flows
- Help implement process automation improvements by creating business requirements documents, assisting with user testing/training, and coordinating roll out and maintenance activities
- Serve as a liaison between functional teams and internal RPA development teams to implement RPA solutions
- Balance multiple, concurrently running projects, often with large business impacts
This might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- 3-7 years of proven business process engineering/continuous improvement experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
- Experience with one or more RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
- Strong data analysis skills and understanding of the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with Process Improvement Methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Process Reengineering) –application & execution capabilities, ideally in Shared service environment or ITeS sector
- Proven ability to achieve breakthrough results via improvement tools and techniques
- High energy, positive mindset, leads by “Go and Do” & “Go and See” philosophy
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & statistical analysis tools
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate complex ideas with all levels of management and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize inconsistencies
- Ability to take ideas from inception to delivery in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's/Graduate degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university
