CACI's Location Intelligence Group provides data, software and consulting services to help our clients’ make better location-based decisions.

We help clients make profitable decisions through our understanding of people and place, understanding spatial characteristics and consumer behaviour. We help retailers, restaurant chains, leisure operators, care homes, charities, automotive manufacturers and other operators with physical outlets plan site provision in the UK and overseas.

CACI is recruiting for a Solutions Consultant within the Location Intelligence Group responsible for shaping solutions to clients’ spatial strategy questions.

 

Location Intelligence Team 

As the UK’s leading Location Intelligence team, we are responsible for delivering advanced spatial analysis and insight to major organisations across a range of sectors and countries. We provide consultancy, cutting edge software and the latest data to help our clients optimise their location strategies across both the physical and digital landscape.

Projects typically last between a week and six months, ranging from performance analysis, customer insight, defining network strategies, BI & visualisation and advanced AI predictive modelling. We work closely with our clients to ensure we understand their aims and objectives, incorporate their feedback and knowledge, and develop a bespoke solution to meet their business needs.

 

What you’ll be doing

Joining the Solution Consulting team, you will be part of a dynamic, innovative and experienced team designing solutions to answer a wide range of strategic questions.

Every client and every day is different, and you will use your experience to scope the right combination of analysis and methodology, data and software for their needs. The role is varied, working across a wide array of sectors and markets, UK and International, but always with people and place at the core.

Our commercial team identify the opportunities and will call upon you as a Subject Matter Expert to help design the solution to meet client needs. Once projects are underway, we work collaboratively with our clients. You will remain involved as part of a project team as Project Director ensuring the strategic advice and recommendations meet the needs of the client. Project teams include a range of experts in geospatial modelling, location planning, data engineering, software and data development as well as a dedicated project manager.

Client relationships are valued, and the potential applications of our solutions are broad. You will become a trusted advisor and partner for clients who look to us to help them deliver value from data. You will be given a high level of autonomy and support to shape the way we approach our work. This will include the freedom to find new ways of enhancing our proposition and bring these innovative approaches to the marketplace.

Who you are

It is important that you have:

  • Energy. Passion. Enthusiasm. Drive
  • An interest and/or understanding of the technology landscape in relation to data science and how spatial data could be consumed within a client’s current setup
  • An understanding of the latest data science, machine learning & AI techniques and

approaches, and their relevance for operators and consumer brands

  • Spatial analytics subject matter expertise (SME)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and are comfortable at C-level
  • Outstanding Microsoft PowerPoint capabilities
  • Experience of conducting spatial analysis in real-world applications
  • Familiar with business intelligence platforms (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, etc)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
