We are seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong JavaScript expertise to build and optimize user-facing components, ensuring a seamless and high-performance user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Optimise UI Components: Build dynamic, reusable, and responsive UI components 
JavaScript & TypeScript Development: Write clean, modular, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
State Management: Implement effective state management solutions using Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
API Integration: Work closely with backend teams to consume RESTful APIs built on Node.js/Express.
Performance Optimisation: Ensure smooth rendering and optimal performance through best practices such as code splitting, lazy loading, and memoization.
Authentication & Security: Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms, integrating with Keycloak.
Testing & Debugging: Write and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver a polished and intuitive user experience.
UI/UX Improvements: Collaborate with the design team to enhance the look and feel of the platform while ensuring accessibility and responsiveness.

Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and
Experience with React.js. Is desirable, or a thirst to learn
Proficiency in CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) and responsive design principles.
Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API).
Familiarity with consuming and handling RESTful APIs.
Understanding of authentication & security best practices (OAuth, JWT, Keycloak).
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using browser developer tools and logging frameworks.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
