We are growing, and are looking to appoint a GIS Consultant / Customer Success Consultant to act as the Pre-Sales lead for the Transport sector and to support the wider team. Working in Pre-Sales, you will be part of our close-knit and supportive team but will also benefit from operating in the wider Sales and PS teams.

As a Customer Success Consultant (Transport Lead) your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide technical guidance and demonstrations of off-the-shelf ArcGIS software and data to assist the sales team in the transport sector
  • Deliver customer success in new and existing customers within the transport sector by using a strong knowledge of ArcGIS and its application in industry.
  • Work with account managers to understand how Esri technology and supporting data and services can be used to solve real-world problems. 
  • Help to identify and then progress sales opportunities with account managers by understanding customer requirements then demonstrating relevant ArcGIS software and data to solve their challenges.
  • Support marketing campaigns and events by understanding and articulating the benefits of working with ArcGIS through webinars, conferences and written collateral
  • Mentor and oversee Graduates and other individuals in the delivery of pre-sales activities 
  • Provide technical skills support and subject matter expertise to the wider pre-sales team

  • Are looking for a customer facing role that allows you to showcase your ArcGIS and knowledge and understanding of how it can be applied to solve real world problems in the transport sector. You should also have:
  • A strong working knowledge of the entire ArcGIS system (Online and Enterprise, Web Apps, Mobile Apps, ArcGIS Pro etc.) combined with a keen interest in the application of GIS and key industry trends
  • Have confidence dealing with new and existing customers
  • Can articulate the business benefits of working with the ArcGIS platform and can show how it can be used to solve business problems
  • Can build strong professional relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Are organized and able to both work in a team and motivate yourself to work on your own
  • Are flexible and able to manage your time and take on assignments at short notice
  • Have a developing knowledge of the sales cycle and how Esri UK operates as a business
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A good understanding of the sales cycle and how Esri UK operates across it
  • Desirable - Have a full UK driving licence
  • Essential- happy to travel and stay overnight within the UK. All our positions also require employees to go through a basic security clearance.
  • Location – Home or Office Based (Aylesbury, Cambridge or Edinburgh)
