Senior Marketing Manager

The Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) for TowerXchange will develop and implement a marketing strategy to achieve delegate attendance, revenue targets, and sponsorship lead generation for the www.towerxchange.com events, research and membership portfolio.
Leading across 5 key areas: data/customer insights, digital marketing, event marketing, marketing communications, and social media. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll collaborate with cross franchise leaders and provide data insights to improve marketing/digital activities across the brand group.

DELIVERABLES
Event Marketing & Audience Development
•
Drive delegate registration and attendance across brand groups.
•
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (social, search, email, telemarketing, partnerships) to achieve conversion and attendee return.
•
Implement SEO, CRO for event websites and develop data-driven pricing strategies.
•
Lead inbound marketing transition with content campaigns, manage marketing database growth using Marketo.
•
Analyse performance across channels, optimize customer journey for all events.
•
Develop social media strategy for brand awareness and engagement.
•
Standardise delegate acquisition measurement, track & report KPIs.
•
Monitor competitor activity.
People Management & Financial Responsibility
•
Manage & mentor junior marketers, aligning objectives with business goals.
•
Manage event marketing budgets for optimal ROI.
•
Partner with the events team to create and deliver marketing strategies.
•
Implement best practices, ensure structured campaign analytics framework.

Deliver regular reports (monthly) on performance across channels and events.

Build & maintain strong stakeholder relationships, manage multiple priorities & keep stakeholders updated.
•
Own copywriting & proofing for external marketing collateral.
Key Interfaces
•
Collaborate with Marketing Director, Event Programming, Brand Marketing Leads, Editorial & Content teams to achieve business goals.
Required Experience & Skills:
•
Extensive B2B events marketing leadership, ideally in telecoms, financial services, or professional services.
•
Proven ability to design and deliver successful multi-channel marketing campaigns (performance marketing, social media, etc.).
•
Proficiency in Marketo, Salesforce, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter), CMS systems, design tools (Canva, basic Photoshop), and basic HTML creation.
•
Working knowledge of paid advertising (GA4 included).
•
Experience in event commercialization (including launches) and stakeholder engagement.
•
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and ROI optimization (proven success in managing marketing costs).
•
Extensive experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative environment with strong communication skills (articulating metrics, challenges, and opportunities).
•
Ability to lead and manage local and remote [junior] team members
