Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the management and creation of clear and consistent learning content to aid operational training and deployment, globally.
Liaising with internal colleagues and team members to ensure copy meets different learning styles, tone, languages, culture and target audience.
Working in collaboration with the training deployment team to ensure that written content is understood and deployed using the appropriate channels.
Helping plan curriculums, researching materials to ensure content is fit for purpose and language, ensuring meaning is clear and concise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage our learning content, tracking content created, and ensuring it is up to date while identifying and managing stakeholder relationships
- Complete training content projects, meeting deadlines and follow content requirements in terms of company style and project specifications
- Collaborate with teams across the business to define their content needs
- Create engaging training modules using Articulate or Camtasia, and keeping up to date with new and innovative learning content creation programs
- Manage the upload of SCORM files and course enrolment of Compass, our LMS and HR management system
- Take briefs, identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
- Edit and proofread content to ensure voice, grammar and style is on point with company brand
- Stay up to date on industry trends to support training content development
- Work closely with the training deployment team to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding and style
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop positive relationships at all levels, with all types of people
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, presentation – with clarity of expression
- Passion for quality content
- Can anticipate internal and/or external business issues and develop learning content to support the mitigation of risk
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage both your own and your teams’ time effectively.
- Excellent editing and proofing skills
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to break down complex concepts and document processes
- Excellent time management and the ability to stick to deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment while working independently on projects.
- Strong knowledge of content or documentation management or industry related experience
- Strong experience in Project Management
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, or related field, preferred, not essential
