Senior Marketing Project Manager
Purpose of the Job
As a Senior Marketing Project Manager for this high-profile client in the Technology sector, you will be an integral part of the on-site team supporting our client to achieve their objectives in a strategic B2B channel marketing program. Having gained a full understanding of the client’s objectives, you will support the ideation process, identify the strategic milestones to successful execution and execute global and regional marketing programs and campaigns. Thereon in, you will independently manage all aspects of planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of marketing levers across the EMEA region, also bringing innovative strategies into play.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills to oversee the launch of a new B2B Marketing program, as well as specialized channel marketing expertise to develop additional B2B marketing programs. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, tactical execution, and exceptional project management and communication skills.
This is a twelve-month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities
Exemplary Client Support
- Fully understand the client objectives, plan and execute a strategy to achieve this.
- Adopt an autonomous approach to the management of the program, whilst respecting the client’s decision-making process.
- Be the primary point of contact for the client stakeholder, ready to answer questions on any aspect, at any time.
- Support with vendor management and budget management for each quarter.
- Participate in regular meetings, presentations, and discussions around the project.
B2B Marketing Program Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for a new partner support program launch, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and success metrics.
- Manage all aspects of the program launch, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of all components (e.g., training materials, resources, incentive programs).
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, training) to ensure alignment and support for the program.
- Track program performance, analyse results, and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks.
- Provide regular project updates and reports.
B2B Marketing Program Development
- Develop and implement targeted B2B marketing programs and incentives specifically designed for partners utilizing various advertising platforms.
- Coordinate market research and competitive analysis to understand the unique needs of these partners.
- Create and manage partner communication, incentives, training materials or other marketing activations that address partner needs.
- Monitor program performance, analyse key metrics, and optimize programs for maximum impact.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
Essential:
- BA/BSc in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven extensive experience in B2B marketing reseller or channel marketing, specifically within a SaaS, technology, or related reseller/partner program and a thorough understanding how such ecosystems operate
- Previous experience in developing and executing channel marketing strategies, including co-marketing programs, partner incentives, marketing development funds (MDF), partner communication, and training programs
- Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and the dynamics of partner ecosystems
- Deep understanding of channel marketing principles and best practices, including partner recruitment, onboarding, enablement, performance management, and relationship building
- Ability to work autonomously within a client environment, taking solution proposals to the client - not taking the problem to the client
- Demonstrated success in managing complex marketing projects, from planning to execution, with a focus on delivering measurable results. Provide specific examples of past projects and quantifiable achievements
- Ability to articulate project updates, timelines, and key performance metrics to internal stakeholders and partner groups
- Proven ability to handle ambiguity, problem solve, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, technical work environment
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing programs
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree
- Familiarity with digital marketing
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and related analytics
