Summary

We have an opening for a Permit Coordinator on our prestigious client site in Wembley. Operating as part of the team to constantly strive for the best possible safety standards. Leading the review of RAMS, issuing of Permits and managing contractors safely on and off of site.

You will be assisting in the provision of an exceptionally high standard of building maintenance services encompassing project upgrades, planned and reactive works.

This role is a flexible shift pattern of Monday to Friday with alternative starts and finish times. With the opportunity for overtime on event days.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Lead the induction, learning and permit processes as part of a small team based within the Permit Office
  • Review Contractor RAMS for approval in advance of works
  • Ensure correct Permit to Work implemented
  • Record and Monitor Electrical and Mechanical Isolations to ensure the applicable documentation is in place and correctly recorded
  • Ensure compliance documentation is in place, accurate and appropriately filed to assist with internal and external auditing
  • Coordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses

 

What we’re looking for:

Someone who has worked in a Permit or compliance team previously and is comfortable with dealing with different priorities onsite. You will also have:

  • Permit Work and isolation experience
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with visiting suppliers
  • Previous CAFM experience would be desirable
