Job Title: Mobilisation Coordinator (Onboarding/Resourcing) 

Location: Hinkley Point C

Duration: Full Time, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobilisation Coordinator to join us on the MEH Alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project.

This is full time permanent position, the successful applicant will be working onsite at Hinkley Point C and from the Satellite Delivery Centre in Bridgwater (TA6 4FJ) varying across the week.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates resourcing activity across one or more of the JV Delivery Partners into roles with the MEH Alliance at HPC 
  • Ensures SQEPness (Suitably Qualified, Experienced Personnel) of candidates with reference to the MEH Alliance Competency Matrix
  • Share MEH resource demand with JV Delivery Partners and provides visibility of resourcing pipeline against forecast and confirmed labour requirements
  • Works with Mobilisation Advisor to efficiently allocate resources across the MEH.
  • Working with the other MEH HR teams – L&D & Workforce as well as the JV Delivery Partners Resourcing teams to ensure new starts to the project are competent and qualified to complete their working roles in line with the MEH competency matrix.
  • Managing the mobilisation of new team members onto the project, proactively managing all aspects of the mobilisation process to enable individuals to commence work as quickly as possible.
  • Maintaining and monitor WIMS database to ensure all colleagues are onboarded with the correct in date qualifications.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and make bookings for required inductions and necessary appointments and visits to sitewithin the tight time constraints. 
  • Coordinating responses to Mobilisation audit queries.
  • Supporting off-boarding activities with Mobilisation Advisor and Delivery Partners to redeploy employees from MEH HPC back to JV Partners.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in recruitment resourcing/mobilisation and onboarding activities for high volumes of staff.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes, in particular Excel.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.  
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Working knowledge of GDPR would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience dealing with confidential data, working in vetting or in administrative role within a regulated industry would be advantageous.

We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers. Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
