Lead Talent Acquisition Partner 

Engineering (Construction/Building) 

Leeds OR London (hybrid working)  

Full Time/Permanent  

£50-55k (depending on experience) + benefits.  

 

Summary 

We have a fantastic opportunity available within our Engineering business for a well-established and knowledgeable Talent Acquisition Lead to join our brilliant TA team. This role is a great mix of operational recruitment (delivery) and strategic projects.  

We operate a proactive partnership model to support each business area on Talent Acquisition and are on a journey of continuous improvement and evolution.  

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:  

  • Delivery of the TA strategy in your area of the business (Engineering team)
  • Building an external network and future pipeline of talented resource for your business.
  • Inputting into the build of a PSL to have a clear list of approved agencies and rates and ensuring compliance throughout the business through excellent stakeholder management.
  • Working proactively and collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure a positive, collaborative, and effective working relationship is achieved.
  • Collating and presenting Data on a monthly and quarterly basis to the SLT to drive appropriate actions.
  • A strong focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the TA process and promoting NG Bailey as an employer of choice.
  • Ensuring a fair, inclusive, and equitable process is followed and maintained across all recruitment activities.
  • Identify, attract, and retain the best candidates in the active and passive job market.
  • Working with the marketing team to deliver key attraction activities and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Working in partnership with the Head of TA on the EVP initiatives
  • Line management responsibility of TA Partner. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

We’re looking for someone to join our team who's driven by doing the right thing - being proactive, commercial and creative in their approach to Talent AcquisitionPlease bring your energy and proven experience in: 

  • In house / Internal Talent Acquisition within an established UK focused business – preferably within a similar Engineering/Construction/Building industry
  • Organised and comfortable managing multiple recruitment roles at any one time (circa 25 roles)
  • Amazing Stakeholder Management skills – someone who’s not afraid to ask challenging questions to find solutions.
  • Must be confident at gathering, interpreting and presenting meaningful data to drive action.
  • Creative and curious mindset – someone who’s going to get deep into their business area and network, research and learn!
  • Solution focused recruitment outlook.
  • A true passion for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and experience of implementing initiatives to improve candidate experience and/or EVP.
  • TA Projects experience – whether that’s been working on developing a Hiring Manager Toolkit, a Competency Framework, the EVP or something else!
