Permanent - Full Time (Part time and job share applications will also be considered)

 

We have an opportunity for a HR Administrator join us in the MEH Alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project. The administrator will provide support to the HR Team as well as the Health Surveillance (HS) Team with all admin duties.   

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining the HR database and the data contained as the single source of truth for the MEH JV team.  Undertaking regular audits to ensure that the data contained is correct and up to date.
  • Assisting with HR activities including onboarding, offboarding, arranging exit interviews, opt out tracking and internal movements etc.
  • Assisting with the recording of white-collar overtime on a weekly basis.
  • Assisting with the management of the maintenance of the HR Mailbox, allocating emails to the appropriate person if unable to deal with directly.
  • Responsible for coordinating the desk at multiple locations.
  • Supporting the PULSE team, coordinating activities as required.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of MEH Alliance App database – updating leavers, starters and movements as well as being responsible for appropriate content.
  • Assisting the Health Surveillance Coordinators with Fit Certificates and 1 to 1 follow ups.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills are required in this role.
  • Strong IT skills and understanding of the MS Office package is essential.

We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers. Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
