Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join Freedom Group on a permanent basis. This role requires the management and delivery of support services to the Major Projects & Connections team who deliver design and construction contracts. The successful applicant will be accountable for the delivery of day-to-day project co-ordination and support services across a range of projects. This role requires a structured and organised approach, following internal processes and governance, but requiring the ability to work proactively and independently.

This role is a mixture of office based at Farringdon Street London and working from home with potential for occasional travel to client’s office or site where applicable. Full training will be given on the processes and procedures used within the business, but it is essential the successful candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive, and able to work independently once fully trained.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Management of Safety Briefings, Bulletins and Tool Box Talks Cascade of key documentation and updates to the project teams.
  • Attending Meetings, taking and issuing accurate minutes.
  • Following Freedom's Quality Management System Compliance to Freedom Governance and Standards/Policies.
  • Preparing, updating and issuing Progress Trackers Document Control and Issuing Commercial administration - raising Purchase Orders, Goods Receiving, resolving Blocked Invoices etc Project Programme updates. Requesting Quotations and raising Orders.
  • Competency Assessment process management. Being disciplined with recording and filing information.
  • Preparing Powerpoint Presentations
  • Collating KPI's
  • Supporting Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors in preparing Notices, Variations, Early Warnings and other contract/project management administration

Key Relationships: The role requires establishing, building, and maintaining close relationships with the client and various personnel across the delivery teams, including direct staff and contractor supply chain.

Persons Specification: A diligent person who is organised and can plan and coordinate activities is essential for this role. Ability to communicate in a clear and timely manner is essential. Ability to work pro-actively and independently to be an integral part of the division is crucial

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in an applicable role. Background a mixture of HR, Administration, Co-ordination is highly desirable.

Skills/Knowledge: Competent MS Office skills including Excel, Powerpoint, WordInterpersonal / Customer service skills. Communicational skills Proactive and willing to tackle and solve problems
