As an NG Bailey apprentice you will:

 

  • Train at one of the top performing colleges or training providers in the country
  • Learn about our award-winning approach to working safely
  • Work in our offices and on construction sites
  • Be prepared for early starts and travel away from home
  • Develop great working relationships with some of the industry’s most talented people
  • Have a strong support network giving you the chance to build your confidence and use your initiative

 

You will learn to:

 

  • Work across different departments in our Engineering division to get a clear understanding of the business
  • Work closely with engineers in the business
  • Be a role model promoting excellent health and safety in the workplace
  • Attend meetings with your project team to ensure we are meeting the client’s requirements
  • Work with your project team to identify potential risks, solutions, and opportunities
  • Provide information for progress reports and meetings
  • Build positive relationships with the client and main contractor
  • Work with your team to control financial objectives and meet timescales
  • As you gain experience, manage small sections of a project, and take responsibility for meeting targets and deadlines

 

We are looking for people who:

You will attend college on block release to complete the Level 4 Building Services Engineering Technician apprenticeship and regularly attend in house training and development as part of the programme.

 

To apply you need:

 

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C/4 or above in English, Maths, Science and 2 other subjects.

Plus, have achieved (or be predicted to achieve) 2x A Levels grade C (or equivalent such as BTEC Extended Diploma, Level 3 Diploma, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship) in STEM subjects.

 

Please note, to be eligible for an apprenticeship you: 

 

  • Must be able to complete the apprenticeship within the required time, including the End-Point Assessment.
  • Must have a valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England.
  • Must be ordinarily resident in the UK or its territories for at least 3 years before starting the apprenticeship.
