General Maintenance Operative

Location: Weybridge
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience plus benefits
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive General Maintenance Operative to join our team, providing high-quality maintenance services within a commercial environment. Your main focus will be on planned and reactive maintenance tasks, carried out with exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general handyman duties, including minor building fabric repairs, plumbing, and basic electrical work.

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and reactive works as required.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and documentation standards.

  • Build positive working relationships with clients and service partners.

  • Assist Technicians when necessary and handle small projects independently.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in general maintenance within commercial settings.

  • Practical skills in fabric-related PPMs and reactive repairs. Such as basic plumbing and handyman skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Solid understanding of health and safety practices.

  • Competence in using basic tools and equipment effectively.
