Sr. Payroll Analyst Job description

 

  • Act as a specialist to internal and external stakeholders to determine business requirements and needs of customized all the payroll processes to identify and/or mitigate payroll risk. Consult, recommend, and partner with key stakeholders to carry out best-in-class solutions as appropriate in areas such as payroll, benefits, time, and human resources policy and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day functions of CPO including but not limited to ensuring international payrolls transact in an accurate and timely manner, timecard maintenance, country regulatory requirement monitoring, rate changes, direct deposit, advances/arrears, manual paychecks, and shift differential maintenance.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for Magnit/client application issues in the areas of payroll system setup, payroll functionality, and general payroll client inquiries.
  • Accurate pre-payroll transmission processing including audits inputs and clarifications.
  • Oversee ongoing research, resolution, product support, and exceptional customer service for Workers, Client Services, and other team members.
  • Work with and mentor Client Payroll Operations Analysts to optimize daily payroll processing and to ensure every client interaction is a best-in-class experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and teams to identify key payroll processes and requirements, areas for improvement in department-wide processes and strategy, and delivery of such continuous advancements.
  • Independently develop and deliver client process documentation, governance, and execution on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Consistently evaluate regular processes and work with team & management to implement efficiencies to reduce time spent and ensure adequate controls are in place to support future growth and sustainability.
  • Assess processes and procedural documents to identify ways to enhance efficiency and find improvement opportunities.
