England, UK Req #149
07 May 2025

Seasalt is a modern Cornish company with an ambitious vision. We are already established as a successful multi-channel UK retailer, with an international online presence, over 70 shops, and various marketplaces, partnerships and wholesale stockists.

As Senior Marketplace & Partnership Manager you will lead on a portfolio of fashion marketplaces and partnerships, building and developing strong relationship management, solid integration across systems and platforms, and internal cross-functional coordination of our efforts to be a leading brand on our partner sites.

With ambitious growth targets, including international expansion, you will be part of the team responsible for achieving strategic and financial targets by developing and executing sound commercial strategies.

This role is an excellent opportunity within a dynamic retailer for someone in a fashion brand or marketplace business, who loves building and developing strong business partnerships.

Please note that this role is available remotely across the UK with occasional travel to our Head Office locations in Cornwall. If you are a Cornwall based candidate, this role will be based at Head Office with a hybrid working approach.

You'll help us by:

  • Managing the sales and profit performance of the marketplace and partnership business, resulting in increased customer awareness and revenue
  • Maximising the market dynamics across geographies (UK&I, Europe and US), keeping up to date with marketplace trends for all territories, ensuring that we are relevant to each market and maximise sales opportunities
  • Establishing high functioning commercial partnerships to build the business profitability whilst ensuring the Seasalt brand and customer experience in the store partnership channel is meeting our high standards
  • Optimising the product onboarding process
  • Utilising product data to maximise conversation and sales
  • Establishing contractual terms and Service Level Agreements, ensuring these are monitored, kept up to date, and that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed where relevant
  • Leading internal trade calls and meetings, working with Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure that partner sales performance, stock position and marketing/promotional activities are in line with set plans and market conditions
  • Ensuring we have the right business models to optimise each partnership
  • Executing robust marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and conversion

The skills you'll be sharing with the team:

  • In depth knowledge of retail partnerships and online fashion marketplaces within the UK and Europe. US exposure would be beneficial.
  • Experience with managing trading and operational realities of marketplaces, including online customer journeys and commercialisation of product data
  • Previous managerial experience with good coaching skills
  • Experience of working cross-functionally with great interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Track record of establishing and building relationships with partners
  • Confidence in presenting to and leading meetings with external partners
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience of utilising data to drive sales
