What You Will Do
- Create and maintain internal reporting packages throughout the month and immediately following the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
- Understand and analyze existing processes and utilize technology to develop process improvements that will allow for automation, time savings and / or enhanced the level of reporting and visibility.
- Enhance the reporting functions across entire accounting/finance organization.
- Use technology to design and develop accounting processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness, timeliness, and fidelity of financial information while still maintaining compliance with internal controls.
- Implement industry standard best practices across existing workflows with a focus on optimization and the reduction of manual processes.
- Create a deep understanding of our business at the client and category levels and use that knowledge to partner with our client services teams to forecast future revenue and GP.
- Draft documentation based on current and projected financial results and act as a technical resource to a variety of stakeholders.
- Direct and assist in various ad hoc projects when required.
What You Will Need
Education and Experience
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in a Business, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 2 plus years of experience as a business analyst or similar experience
- Minimum 2 plus years experience working in large enterprise/Fortune 500 environment.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Experience working with a wide range of personnel, including business sponsors, product owners, project managers, development teams, and end users at all levels of the organization.
- Logical and systematic analysis and logical thinking with the ability to communicate complex processes or ideas in a simple straight forward manner.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey advanced analytical and technical topics that are grounded in solid problem-solving skills.
- Analysis, requirement definition, testing to optimize and automate system administration and business process activities.
- Liaison between teams overseeing scheduling, testing, and defining ramification to the business program area’s IT portfolio.
- Expert working knowledge with MS Office (Office 365), SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel
