About the Role
The Contracts Department provides a comprehensive contracts management solution for all Magnit clientele. All members of the Contracts team must maintain best-in-class contract standards and provide the highest quality customer service for our clients.

This position requires ownership of the contract lifecycle including, but not limited to, negotiating/administering contracts between Magnit and staffing agencies on behalf of Magnit’s clients and collection of compliant supporting documentation. With direction from management, the Contracts Specialist may also assist with the negotiating and administering of contracts with independent contractors on behalf of Magnit’s clients. The Contracts Specialist will maintain the department and company’s operational performance standards, produce quality work product in an efficient manner, and achieve departmental initiatives.

This role requires analytical and operational support to all business partners within the Magnit team and help Magnit’s business thrive.


What You Will Do
· Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring compliance with Magnit’s established policies, procedures, and tolerances
· Draft amendments to the supplier agreements
· Peer review department documents, including supplier and independent contractor agreements, amendments and required documentation to ensure correctness, completeness, and compliance
· Lead large amendment projects
· Facilitate contract escalations with Client Services and Magnit’s Sr. Management/General Counsel
· Prepare supplier agreements for execution once negotiations are complete
· Update department templates with guidance from management
· Lead new client implementations
· Full ownership of the contract lifecycle with suppliers at numerous client accounts
· Provide ongoing support to the department/company including, but not limited to, assisting with special projects, reporting, SOP updates, etc.
· Update department reports
· Respond to contract inquiries received by the department

Secondary Responsibilities
· Assists with other department functions, including background and drug testing vendor setup and other corporate contracts as needed
· Review client policies and procedures and create confirmations of receipt

What You Will Need
· Must have strong negotiation and organizational skills
· Must be able to accurately proofread, with a detailed eye, for grammatical and formatting errors
· Demonstrated ability to create documents appropriate to all levels of staff and audiences and to write legal terms in plain English
· Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple deadline projects, while producing quality work product within departmental and organization's quality standards and strict deadlines
· Demonstrated ability to use excellent analytical skills on complex projects, by identifying key business issues and development of appropriate action plans
· Ability to work well with others, both internally and externally, and at different levels of management
· Must be detail oriented, a critical thinker and a good problem solver
· Consistently exhibits friendly, positive, and professional customer service, both internally and externally
· Strong multi-tasking and time management/project management skills
· Demonstrated ability to proactively and professionally collaborate effectively and efficiently with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally
· Exhibit excellent judgment in communication with regard to timing, circumstances and audience
· Demonstrated ability to adhere to organizational and departmental standards and policies
· Must have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Internet, copier, phones and other office equipment needed for the position function
· Demonstrated proficiency in Word and Excel
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or related field) or a paralegal certification
o 3-5 years of contract administration experience
o Experience in staffing industry

Compensation: Salary will range from $55,000-$65,000 USD annually. Salary rate will be based on experience, skills, and geographical location.
