We are seeking to hire a Senior Associate, Warehouse to join our Distribution Team…

Summary

Pick and check finished product orders in a timely manner base on priorities. Package and accurately complete documentation for all shipments. Handles inbound and outbound raw materials and finished goods. Adhere to SOP’s

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Communicates with other department to help ensure the packaging operation run smoothly and uninterrupted. (Scheduling, Finance, R&D, Lab, QA, Label Control, Document Control, Distribution)

Load and unload trucks as required. Marks materials with identifying information.

Inspects and records amounts and condition of materials or items received or distributed

Maintain inventory in proper storage condition.

Pick, pack and check all outgoing shipments. Verify material identity, lot numbers, count and customer on all shipments.

Set-up appointments with customers and trucking companies.

Ensure proper paperwork accompanies shipments i.e. Depot, PR and partials are marked with NDC & lot # (both physical and electronic copies).

Must be able to write and speak clearly in order to interface with internal and external customers.

Monitors and maintains component inventory in the KBM system.

Receives and enters all packaging components in the KBM system.

Monitors, maintains, and reorders all miscellaneous log books for the department

Required to operate/drive forklift or truck

Ability to perform basic tasks within the site’s ERP system and WHMS.

 

Verify vendors for all incoming material

 

Keep records of Controlled Substance Shipments

 

Work with procurement on incoming POs

Other duties as assigned

Must participate and successfully complete all training as required by the company

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training. May require valid driver license.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to speak in one-on-one situations.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10 to 25 pounds, at times over 100 pounds with the assistance of material handling equipment. 

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
