Summary
The SAP FICO Senior Analyst plays a critical role by partnering with business process owners and technology groups to fully leverage SAP capabilities and drive process standardization, process efficiencies, automation and, ultimately, value creation.
The SAP FICO Senior Analyst will collaborate with global functional teams and external service providers to ensure high availability for SAP applications in his/her domain expertise as well as to successfully execute enhancements and project work.
They will be involved in eliciting requirements and will collaborate to design and to develop SAP FICO solutions. His/her domain expertise will be leveraged through strong verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Provides functional and technical expertise to analyze, plan and design SAP solutions.
- Engages with business stakeholders to identify and define high level business requirements.
- Collaborates with lead functional consultants in driving and delivering SAP solutions.
- Partners with business process owners to elicit and document functional requirements.
- Partners with business process owners and other technology groups to create foundational artifacts (testing scripts, process documentation, training, etc.).
- Collaborates with AMS service providers to ensure best practices are used to configure and develop SAP solutions.
- Supports business teams in all testing activities.
- Engages in incident resolution and data recovery.
- Works with business process owners to support data migration as required in project execution.
- Participates in Incident Root Cause Analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist business teams with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new SAP systems and modules.
- Manages SLAs and KPIs with AMS.
- Serves as overall escalation point for all Tier 1 applications.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management or related technology field is required.
- SAP FICO certification preferred.
- 5 to 7 years in leading SAP ECC FICO project work and support; SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Experience in process manufacturing, chemical industry.
- Experience with Treasury Management, Cash Management and Financial Consolidation is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in collaborating in full cycle SAP implementations.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment.
- Broad exposure to SAP solutions implemented in diverse business functions required.
- Desired previous experience in migration to SAP S/4HANA migration (brownfield or greenfield).
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving.
- Ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional influencing and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a managed service environment a plus.
