We are proud to work in partnership with the NHS and manage the Rotherham Wheelchair Service contract. We have a Part-time opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to join our friendly team.
Hours of work: Monday – Wednesday, 8.30am – 4.30pm.
**Initial training to take place Wednesday – Friday**
The role
As Clinical Administrator, you will work as part of a small team assisting the clinicians and performing all administrative activities to maintain and develop an efficient and effective administrative service for the centre.
Key duties.
- Providing reception service for patients at the centre
- Responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a confidential, professional and helpful manner
- Effectively communicating service criteria to patients, families, carers, Allied Health Professionals and clinical staff.
- Managing appointments, referrals and maintaining patient records
- Monitoring waiting lists and liaising with clinicians regarding clinic availability and appointments to manage waiting times
- Triaging telephone calls and managing requests in an auditable and efficient manner.
- Ordering stock identified by wheelchair clinicians, raising requisitions, liaising with suppliers, chasing orders and updating systems
- Inputting referrals
- Booking out and managing items for telephone triage patients and ensuring maintenance of appropriate records
- Liaising with NHS services and the wheelchair repair provider (Ross Care) in a professional manner as required.
- Ensuring all goods received for the service are processed in a timely and effective manner
- Taking minutes of team meetings as requested
- Assisting in management reports and data collection.
