Purpose of the Job

The Marketing Operations Manager will provide strategic and tactical oversight of daily operations for our client's marketing team. This role ensures operational efficiency, facilitates clear and consistent communication between team members and leadership, and drives the successful execution of projects and initiatives within established timelines and budgetary parameters. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end operational timelines to ensure milestones are consistently met.

  • Oversee the tracking and management of contracts and purchase orders, proactively addressing any issues or delays.

  • Support leads in executing change management initiatives.

  • Assist with monthly budget tracking and reporting, collaborating with Finance teams.

  • Develop and present monthly performance scorecards to leadership.

  • Maintain and update stakeholder maps, process documentation, and escalation procedures.

  • Support the creation and distribution of key communication materials, including newsletters.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in operations management.
  • Proven ability to manage and analyze financial data to inform operational decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in google suite
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial tracking.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated strong finance skills and experience with budgeting and financial tracking.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience working in a highly iterative and collaborative environment
  • Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams, and tactfully navigating a client-facing environment
  • Ability to flexibly thrive in ambiguity and operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven, rapidly changing work environment

The US base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
