Purpose of the Job 

We are looking for a passionate Senior Account Manager, Production to lead with expertise specific and focused on the production and operations process for the client partnership. This role will be responsible for managing an internal production team, as well as foster relationships with key client stakeholders. The Senior Account Manager, Production will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs.

Key Responsibilities 

  • You'll be the account expert on everything related to production management and operations, and you'll routinely identify new opportunities to bring efficiency and structure to the team.
  • Inspires and energizes team, and always leads by example.
  • Ensures the team understands the overall vision, guiding principles, and expected brand standards.
  • Lead a dedicated production teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, via technology platforms, reporting dashboards and quarterly business reviews.
  • Collaborate with Retail Marketing Planners to forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Ensure actions are taken to key company cash flow goals; monitor client & supplier payments, timely invoicing, proper budget adjustments
  • Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth at assigned Key Accounts, identify and explore opportunities for new from existing growth of services scope
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders and your team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to your clients
  • Implement and collaborate with Retail Marketing Planners on the effective delivery of key client programs including communication strategies, client training, issue resolution and utilization reporting.
  • Work closely with internal partners to support warehouse management initiatives
  • Determine clients’ unmet needs and translate internally for adequate follow up.
  • Retain and grow your assigned book of business including meeting or exceeding up sell targets.
  • Bring new ideas to client to expand presence in the retail space; innovation in display marketing, seasonal initiatives, cross-channel marketing
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the clients’ end use markets, their important clients, and their main competitors.
  • Investigate, track and resolve client and client concerns; identify trends and implement solutions. '
  • Ensure optimal client feedback to Product Management, Sales Management or other departments with regard to product requirements and enhancements.
  • Strive to identify process improvement ideation related to catalog improvement and inventory risk mitigation
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of your clients’ business and their human capital and benefits issues and appropriately position value proposition with viable solutions to meet your clients’ needs. 

  

Knowledge, Skills + Experience 

  • 10+ years of production or operations management or other relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of production industry, print formats and materials. Managerial experience is required 
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality print and visual content on time and within budget. 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Understanding of structural POS and POSM marketing tools (can read spec sheets, understand POG/CAPE/BOM documents)
  • Passion for physical retail marketing BA/BS degree or equivalent
