Position Title
Supply Chain Planner
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities:
- Develops, integrates and provides account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning which includes replenishment data, point-of sale data, sales promotion information, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity, and new distribution/product deletions.
- Assists in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts.
- Maintains and manages product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand. Analyzes internal demand stream information and categorizes according to demand patterns.
- Aligns sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups.
- Drives reconciliation of Financial and Operations plans.
- Leads Regional IBP Process
- Drive regional Portfolio management including PIPO communications and system set up.
- Manage regional inventory of portfolio with focus on balancing proper service and growth needs with optimization of investment.
- Responsible for proper Master Data management with regular reporting of accuracy.
- Drive KPI Management and reporting for Supply and Service areas of business with expectations to meet or exceed.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within supply chain and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or
advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Expertise in advanced Supply Chain / Demand Planning systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with executive leadership
- Business level or above English fluency
Nice to Have
- APICS, IBF or similar professional certification.
- MBA
- Financial minor in education degree
- Experience in Medical Device Industry
- Lean, Six Sigma green or black belt certification
