As the telemarketing executive you are responsible for delivering on marketing campaigns and audience acquisition activities to ensure delivery of the business’ event campaign objectives.

You will deliver on these objectives through multi-faceted campaigns, being responsible for achieving key marketing milestones, and ensuring prospect attendees are nurtured through specific telesales and email marketing efforts.

 

As the ideal candidate you are both a strategist and an executer, an expert in rolling your sleeves up and making things happen. You thrive on the opportunity to hit targets and enjoy talking with our markets. You can understand the customer's needs and be efficient in conversation, using skill and personality to bypass "gate keepers" and speak to "decision makers".  

 

This position will suit someone who has experience in a phone-based customer service, sales or after sales role.

 

What will you do?

  • Work with event team to establish target markets, building databases of prospects for each product including, sell side and VIP targets.
  • Work to KPIs including registered delegates and delegate revenue generation
  • Execute telesales campaigns for each event, working to better understand market requirements, fact find and convert leads into registrations.
  • Take clients through the sales funnel through to conversion.
  • Database Management – keeping our data clean and up-to-date and ensuring each step of the delegate pathway is duly logged through our CRM system
  • Implement and project-manage marketing efforts marketing campaign using both digital and traditional channels including but not limited to:
  • email marketing
  • social media
  • content marketing

Experience and Competencies for Success:

  • Comfortable speaking to high level Directors in English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multiple languages would be an advantage
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency with marketing software such as CRM systems and email marketing software
