What we are looking for:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Automation QA professional to join us in our mission to push boundaries, innovate, and deliver excellence across our suite of website, newsletter, and data products. This role is pivotal to our commitment to providing exceptional solutions and insights to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing and a proven track record of establishing best practice automation QA processes and strategies. This role is critical in ensuring high coverage for automation tests, particularly for regression and integration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automation test frameworks.
• Establish and promote best practices for automation QA processes and strategies.
• Ensure high coverage for automation tests, focusing on regression and integration testing.
• Collaborate with development, QA and product teams to identify test requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
• Continuously improve and optimize automation testing processes.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in automation testing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience of automation testing tools and frameworks like Playwright and/or Cypress (experience with Selenium, Junit or TestNG will be considered as plus).
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in programming languages such as Java and/or Python will be a plus.
