About the Role

This position will be remote from India or based out of the Vadodara, India office.

The position will require working primarily Eastern Standard Time. The Sr. Insurance Administrator must be hands-on and will be responsible for processing claims to ensure the procedure is handled efficiently, accurately, and in a manner that protects the interests of the insured parties while also providing satisfactory customer service. Claimants can confidentially submit their claims with management and receive timely and quality service. Coordinating with others to maintain insurance compliance worldwide.

Candidate must have excellent time management skills to maintain all Workers’ Compensation reporting requirements. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner. It is essential that the candidate be organized, meticulous, and adaptable to ensure deadlines are met timely and with a high degree of accuracy.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor compliance with all risk insurance, inclusive of workers’ compensation, for operations within the United States and internationally.
  • Review and approve prospective contingent worker positions to determine if positions meet the Company’s requirements. Review client contracts to understand and assess insurance requirements and indemnification language.
  • Coordinate with legal and human resources departments regarding workers compensation claims and hearings, client contracts and indemnification language, and potential barriers for payrolling certain positions.
  • Process and monitor workers’ compensation claims from beginning to end. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating with internal team members, workers, claims adjustors, and other parties to gather information, process and track claims, and work with third party claims administrators to determine next steps to bring claims to closure.
  • Obtaining wage data and calculating workers compensation premiums, filing wage reports, and remitting payments to all required jurisdictions on a timely basis.
  • Creating and executing expedient solutions as issues arise. Attention to detail and ability to deliver cohesive ideas in an expedited time frame are key attributes to success in this role.
  • Ability to articulate information clearly via verbal and written communication.
  • This position is responsible for working closely with all levels across the organization to share knowledge, accomplish common goals, and set standards of excellence and professionalism.
  • This position is responsible for maintaining Workers’ Compensation filings and reporting for all required States within the US and internationally. Process and manage invoice for accuracy and timely payments.

What You Will Need

  • 5+ years of experience in Workers’ compensation and risk insurance administration.
  • Quantitative aptitudes and experience in building scalable solutions and processes to solve problems.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
