A Day in the Life 

  
This role is responsible for meeting sales growth requirements, increasing marketing share and developing key clinical relationships with top hospital and renal access centers for the RCS portfolio. You will be responsible for selling newly acquired PTA Balloon, dialysis catheters and acute Catheters 


Meet and exceed assigned sales quota and sales objectives  

 

Build consultative relationships with interventional radiologists, interventional nephrologists and vascular surgeons as well as supply chain and maintain positive working relationship. 

 

Travel within assigned territory to call on customer base 

 

Maintain active, in-person presence at top accounts

 

Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, close new business and convert accounts from competitive products and upgrade current base customers

 

Professionally drive a sense of urgency in accounts to increase purchasing decision time

 

Effectively manage sales pipeline utilizing sf.com and consistent communication with Region Management and marketing team

 

Present product features and benefits to clinical call points utilizing proper sales technique (probing, qualifying, needs assessment, supporting and closing)

 

Master all products and applications, present proposals, negotiate pricing

 

Complete all administrative tasks including weekly call reports, expense reports, new business forms, sf.com, market feedback, etc.

 

In-service accounts by demonstrating product applications, functionality and use



Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as directed. Attend all regional, divisional and sector events including National Sales Meetings, Advanced Corporate Training (ACT), Region Meetings

 

Maintain required activity level – following established guidelines for number of calls / day, # products presented /account and # contacts/account

 

Assist customers with backorders and other related service issues

 

Responsible for obtaining and keeping up-to-date records for vaccinations, TB tests, flu shots and other medical credentials required by the hospitals in your territory 

 

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 


Organize and maintain storage locker, samples and other sales material  

  • Utilize technology and data to analyze territory, effectively target accounts and pre-call planning
  • Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape, including GPO’s, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors and competitive products, etc.
  • Interact with North America sales and marketing team, Customer Service and other internal departments
  • Resolve customer complaints in accordance with Company policy and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales 

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and sells Mozarc Medical's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and services including non-implantable medical or scientific equipment products and/or services (e.g., diagnostic medical equipment, medical imaging machines, medical laboratory equipment, and non-implantable medical devices) within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. 
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and Radiology and Surgical personnel.
  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Mozarc Medical's Scientific Equipment products and/or services.
  • Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.   


Must-Have: Minimum Requirements  
 

  • Bachelors degree required
  •  Minimum of minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services

Nice to Have 

 

  • Medical device/ OR and IR sales experience highly preferred
  • Introductory knowledge of company products and services.
  • Demonstrable, consistent success in previous roles indicated by high level of sales performance
  • Strong customer focus in delivering sales and building relationships.
  • Understanding of vendor, distributor, hospital supply chain management.
  • Willingness to travel to support conversions for extended periods of time. 
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities.
  • Hardworking driven individual with effective persuasion skills
