Account Manager
Purpose of the Job
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for our client operating in the tobacco industry in Poland and the Baltics. You will work closely alongside the Account Managers and Account Director to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. You will be part of a broader team, developing and maintaining a strong relationship with key client stakeholders at all levels. The position contains on-site activities in the Warsaw region and occasional travel between Poland and Baltics locations.
You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with new clients. You will be co-ordinating and liaising with the global team, the Account Director and operations team to deliver your objectives. You will be a confident ‘self-starter’ with excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills. This role combines pitching and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for existing clients. Strong Client facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic brain and the ability to look outside the box.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts
- Deliver excellent service to client with a professional 'can do' attitude at all times
- Attending WIPs and meetings and taking / influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements
- Providing technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards
- Working with strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions
- Deliver services to meet/overachieve SLA’s
- Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time
- Regularly report on achievements and issues
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of print technologies and non-perm/semi-perm POS materials, production technologies and market trends
- Good understanding of permanent POS materials will be an added value
- Exceptional communication, problem solving and collaboration skills
- Experience in a client facing role is essential (PMC, marketing agency, print house)
- Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with suppliers and stakeholders
- Logical and systematic approach to work, experience in managing multiple accounts and projects at the same time
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Strong account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators)
- Works collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals
- Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
