Personal Injury Operational Team Leader
We are seeking an Operational Team Leader within the Personal Injury Technical Claims team to be a pro-active thinker who is highly motivated and leads from front.
Leading a team of experienced Third Party Personal Injury Handlers to achieve first class quality and technical claims handling. You will drive our culture of openness and hold responsibility for the development and people management aspects of your team.
Role: Operational Team Leader (Personal Injury)
Location: Liverpool with hybrid working
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Between £34,000 and £42,000 DOE plus £2500 annual bonus potential achieved quarterly
What you will be doing:
- Lead a team of Third Party Personal Injury Handler
- Accountability for team's performance against set objectives.
- Performance management of staff, dealing with all aspects of people management including quality auditing, absence, holidays, and time management, adhering to SLA’s, monthly one to ones, performance reviews, training and development, disciplinary procedure, and staff welfare
- Maximise the imparting of technical knowledge to the team by way of mentoring and coaching.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Keep abreast of relevant technical and market developments.
- Effectively communicate through engagement and collaboration with team members and the wider business.
- Assist with Ad-hoc tasks as the business needs dictate.
- Maximise capture opportunity for our panel of service providers delivering the right outcome for both the customer and Acorn Insurance
