Marketing Summer Intern
Internship
Our internship program encompasses 16 weeks during the summer of 2025, from May to August. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of financial markets and the operational dynamics of different firms within the market landscape. They should demonstrate a capacity for autonomous work, coupled with the ability to provide regular updates on progress and challenges. The candidate will be expected to interact regularly with sales team members and sales leadership to ensure the project's smooth progression.
As a Summer Intern, you'll have the chance to work remotely as well as in our Montreal office, collaborating with a talented team to drive impactful projects. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Project
- Research BCAs target firm types globally with the aim of identifying potential clients
- Create a whitespace analysis by region and territory of firms in specific AUM bands
- Identify key contacts at these firms as targets for BCA’s sales team, using internal databases, LinkedIn, etc.
- Add the data to Salesforce and create a tracking mechanism allowing sales leadership to assess the prospecting efforts at these target firms
Secondary Duties
- Analyze lost clients over the past several years to identify targets for re-engagement
- Identify new users at these lost firms who have replaced prior key contacts
- Create target lists of the highest probability past clients, by region and territory

Our Summer Interns work primarily with our Sales operations team gaining an understanding of the subscription sales business, customer service, financial markets, and using data to determine the optimal service and support for clients.
To be eligible for a Summer Internship, you will possess:
- Strong understanding of financial markets and how firms operate in this space
- Proven research and analysis skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and provide regular updates
- Experience in identifying and networking with key contacts
- Familiarity with professional social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
- Availability for a full-time internship (16 weeks, May – August 2025)
